Strong Woman Portraits

About the project

Size: each drawing is placed on an approx. 21 x 29,7cm (A4) paper piece

Medium: Ink and pencil on paper

Year: 2018

In October 2018 I decided to participate in the 30 days challenge called ‘Inktober”. During this month I drew every day one portrait of a ‘strong’ women throughout history. Usually with ink but sometimes mixing up with pencils.
The whole experience was very challenging but I’m very happy with the results. I decided to continue the series however with changing to other drawing tools.
Note: The illustration of Maya Angelou will be published in an editorial piece of the non-profit organisation Diva Day.
